Kathryn Smith Counterman Knox passed away January 4, 2018; born in East Stroudsburg on September 29, 1929 to Charles Walter Counterman & Elsie (Smith) Counterman.

Kathryn worked at the same company which went by 4 different names from September of 1947 to December 2001; Line Material, McGraw Edison, Cooper Industries and Eaton Industries in many different capacities from shop office in material control to Accounting.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Calvin Bland Knox on July 31, 2006 as well as her Brothers; James Counterman, Woodrow Counterman, Harold Counterman, Calvin Counterman,...

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Calvin Bland Knox on July 31, 2006 as well as her Brothers; James Counterman, Woodrow Counterman, Harold Counterman, Calvin Counterman, Richard Counterman, Jack Counterman, Robert Counterman, Arthur Counterman and Lester Counterman as well as her Sisters Mary Counterman Huffman (Melvin Huffman, still surviving) and Lois Counterman Bush.
Survived by one Brother, Samuel Counterman and his wife, Carol of Tannersville and a Sister, Carolyn Counterman Smith (John Henry Smith, deceased) of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, Snook (Mrs. Robert) Counterman of Stroudsburg, Barbara (Mrs. Arthur) Counterman of Altoona and Joan (Mrs. Lester) of Florida. One Daughter, Elsie Knox Inch and her Husband George William Inch, Jr. of Selinsgrove, Three Granddaughters and their families; Michelle Inch Heller and Francis Heller of Northumberland and their sons, William, Kasey, Brian and Cory; Katrina Inch Small and her Husband, Tyler Small of Havelock, North Carolina and their children, Tucker and Kyleigh; Melinda Inch of Selinsgrove and so many Nieces and Nephews.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 1822 Mulberry Street, Scranton, PA 18510.
